從小立志的徐霞客

徐霞客6歲去私塾讀書，他天資聰明，最喜愛讀游記，經常能在父親的書柜里找到很多好看的書，便廢寢忘食地讀。

徐霞客從22歲開始出游，經過三十多年的艱苦跋涉，憑借一雙腳走遍了16個省的山川。一路上他不怕險阻，登險峰、涉危洞，對地質、植物、氣候實行了實地考察，取得了巨大的成就。

他所著的《徐霞客游記》把他游歷的所見所聞真實地記錄了下來，為后人的研究工作留下了寶貴的財富。
